Our youth are the leaders of the future! Together with our equine partners here at Dashing W Farm, we can help your middle school student discover and appreciate their leadership talents. In preparation for the workshop, all participants take the pre-workshop Clifton Youth StrengthsExplorer assessment to identify their top three leadership talents. Through ground activities with the horses, we then help students put those talents into practice, instilling courage, confidence, creative problem solving, and basic communication skills. No riding is involved and no experience with horses is necessary!
The workshop is limited to students in 7th and 8th grades (12-14 years of age). The cost is $60 for a 3.5 hour session, which includes refreshments, the code for access to the Clifton Youth StrengthsExplorer assessment, other handout material, and a meaningful learning experience that will set your student on a positive path to achievement! Registration closes Sunday, October 7 to allow time for distribution of the code for conducting the preworkshop, online assessment. The session is limited to 12 students.
NOTE: The day of the workshop (October 11) is a teacher professional development day for public schools, so no school that day!Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received at least seven working days before the workshop are refundable less a $25 administration charge. There are no refunds for cancellations received later; however, a credit will be issued toward a future workshop.
Bookings are closed for this event.
